Position: Secret Technical Writer with Security Clearance
Day-To-Day:
An employer is looking for a Service Now Technical Writer to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will be a part of a Service Now implementation. The company is looking to transition three legacy systems into Service Now. They have already transitioned the telecommunication and CMDB module and now moving onto orders management. This candidate will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including operational reports, contract deliverables, and security incident reports.

They will need to be able to write and edit technical documents for all the project’s solutions to include how-to documentation, process documentation and tasking orders. They also must be comfortable creating documentation for projects; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities from scratch. Must Haves:
Interim Secret Clearance can cage to TSSCI Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant writing experience or a Master's degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience formatting technical documents to include writing, editing, illustration, interpretations, and depth coverage with clear and concise messaging Previous experience creating SOPs, user guides, technical documents, lessons learned, etc. Experience working in an agile environment and participating in daily, weekly, and monthly scrum meetings

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Service Now application
Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.
