Lead Test Engineer

Lead Test Engineer responsible for providing testing expertise and leadership for complex software/hardware applications.

• Act as subject‑matter expert providing testing expertise for user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
• Direct or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development, with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.
• Ensure that test design and documentation support all applicable client, agency, or industry standards, time lines, and budgets.
• Ensure that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results and keep project managers fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.
• Develop pipelines to accomplish testing in a DEVSECOPS environment.
• Develop a process to convert existing manual test cases to automated tests.
• Analyze test results, document conclusions, and make recommendations as supported by such analysis.
• Support the developer and the JITC, the Operational Test Authority, to identify processes and procedures that validate system adherence to the GCCS‑J Key Performance Parameters (e.g., usability, interoperability, availability).

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in software/hardware testing.
• BA/BS in a technical discipline.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Strong knowledge of risk management assessments, test design, and test tools.
• Experience with DEVSECOPS pipeline development and automation of test cases.
• Knowledge of GCCS‑J Key Performance Parameters.
