Sr. Data Scientist – National Security Sector (Cyber & Analytics Business Area)

Leidos has a new opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist in our National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA).

• Mission Focus
  :
  Collaborate closely with customers to enable acceleration to evaluate and tune machine learning models’ ability to integrate, reference, make inferences and consolidate data into a holistic view.
• Technical Proficiency
  :
  Creatively write and evolve prototype techniques leveraging diverse architecture and methods. Provide database administration, dataflow engineering, data wrangling, and model development.
• Qualifications
  :
  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field plus a minimum of eight (8) plus years of relevant experience or equivalent. Proficiency with, but not limited to, Python (Sci Kit‑learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch), R, GIT and experience with Jupyter Notebooks. Ability to provide database administration for relational databases and Tensor Flow.
• Security Clearance Requirement
  :
  Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
• Desirable Skills
  :
  Proficiency in augmenting, providing context, and/or fine‑tuning large language models for generative tasks using approaches such as but not limited to, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and model context protocol (MCP).
