Data Scientist III

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI/ML Data Scientist to design and develop advanced entity resolution and machine learning solutions supporting critical Intelligence Community missions. This role focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large-scale data analytics to identify relationships across complex datasets, improve data quality, and automate mission workflows.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience building production-ready machine learning solutions, working with large datasets, developing feature engineering pipelines, and collaborating with software engineering teams to transition prototypes into operational capabilities.

• Analyze and characterize structured and unstructured entity data
• Determine data normalization and standardization requirements
• Evaluate and implement AI/ML approaches for entity resolution and record linkage
• Research, evaluate, and select appropriate machine learning models, embedding techniques, and supporting technologies
• Design, prototype, and validate end-to-end AI/ML solutions
• Evaluate model performance and recommend improvements using standard machine learning metrics
• Transition prototype analytics into scalable production solutions
• Develop data ingest, transformation, and processing pipelines
• Build feature vectors for machine learning models and analytics
• Develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify valuable information within raw datasets
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate algorithms and improve model performance
• Validate analytics using cross-validation, ROC curves, confusion matrices, and other statistical evaluation techniques
• Partner with software engineers and cloud developers to deploy production analytics
• Develop machine learning models supporting mission automation and operational decision-making
• Lead multiple analytic efforts while mentoring junior data scientists and technical staff
• Guide analytic development toward scalable solutions capable of processing enterprise-level datasets
• Research and integrate emerging AI, machine learning, and pattern recognition technologies into mission solutions

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, or another quantitative discipline.
• Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education requirements in accordance with contract guidelines
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in at least two of the following
  • Data Mining
  • Advanced Analytics
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Software Engineering supporting data analytics
• Experience developing software using Python, Java, Golang, or similar programming languages
• Experience developing machine learning models and statistical algorithms
• Experience analyzing and processing large datasets
• Experience designing and evaluating machine learning experiments
• Experience working with multidisciplinary software development teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience developing entity resolution or identity resolution solutions
• Experience working with embedding and encoder models
• Experience building semantic search or retrieval systems
• Experience developing and managing vector embeddings
• Experience using vector databases such as Qdrants
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments
• Experience with cloud-native machine learning workflows
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense programs
