Role OverviewThe SOC Program Manager oversees daily operations including intrusion monitoring, triage analysis, escalation/communication of events, gathering and reporting on current threat intelligence data, carrying out ‘first responder’ responsibilities associated with security incidents, and containing, eradicating, recovering and analyzing incident events within a 24/7 operation.
Essential Duties- Understand IT systems security architecture and testing, as well as privacy related risks and controls.
- Serve as the authorized interface with the Contracting Officer, Oversight Manager, Technical Monitors, and other Government personnel and contractors.
- Manage a complex, multi-task information technology security and privacy contract.
- Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor work schedules, and review all work products and services.
- Supervise contractor personnel, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work managing multiple tasks in a highly-complex, dynamic environment.
- Analyze metrics to improve overall effectiveness.
- Ensure deadlines and budget commitments are met.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or other related discipline is preferred.
- At least five (5) years of general information systems experience.
- At least seven (7) years of experience related to information security.
- At least seven (7) years of project management experience.
- CISSP or equivalent certification highly preferred.
