Role Overview

A Windows System Administrator will support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems at the Maryland office under a new prime contract.

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and mostly Windows-based IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
• Perform day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Deliver TierI (Help Desk) and Tier2 (Escalation) support, diagnosing and resolving issues, and escalating as needed.
• Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and assist users with system access.
• Optimize system operations, analyze capacity, and plan for resources.
• Provide escalated ticket reporting and status communication to agency management and internal customers.

• Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; alternatively, four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a total of fourteen (14) years of experience.
• Compliance with DoD
  8570.01‑M and minimum IAM LevelI certification.

Security clearance required: TS/SCI Poly.

$140,000 – $180,000 (annually, subject to variation based on responsibilities, experience, and market data).
