- effectively manages the joint capability management office (jcmo) development of responses to high-priority/high-visibility taskings to ensure available sme resources are applied optimally to ensure timely achievement of performance objectives.
- oversees team members’ use of the workload management system (wms) to capture, document and disseminate information on action items and other time-sensitive tasking to jcmo components and other cyberspace program partners.
- serves as a primary point of contact and facilitation for the jcmo’s collaboration on substantive cyber program issues within the jcmo, as well as with other command elements and external partners.
- applies recognized expertise to lead and facilitate discussions among functional and analytical smes, especially when they find it difficult to achieve consensus and maintain forward momentum toward achievement of objectives.
- makes use of these collective inputs to prepare, present and justify authoritative recommendations for significant changes in strategies, programs and policies/processes.
- supports and participates in efforts to define and document the jcmo’s program strategies and plans.
- reports metrics on administrative management functions to the director, including deriving meaning and explaining potential effects on the directorate’s ability to support the command’s mission, and recommending corrective actions.
- leads, contributes to, and coordinates efforts, supported by jcmo functional and technical smes, to generate and provide detailed, justifiable inputs to the budget planning process.

- appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- the employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
- work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft.
- the employee must be able to obtain and maintain a top secret sci clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
- this position is a test designated position (tdp). Pre-employment and periodic random drug tests are required.
- the incumbent must meet nsa personnel security requirements outlined in nsa/css policy 5-1.
