What Impact You’ll HaveGRVTY is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer to support core Intelligence Community missions. As a cyber professional in the intelligence community you will work as part of a team on the front lines against our cyber adversaries.
What You’ll OwnWe are seeking an ISSO role to provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program. Responsibilities include proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, maintaining operational security posture, managing security aspects of the information system, performing day‑to‑day security operations, evaluating security solutions for classified information, conducting vulnerability/risk assessments, providing configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware, managing changes and assessing their security impact, and preparing documentation such as System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices.
Responsibilities- Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation
- Assist in evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
- Assist with configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware
- Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, etc., including system upgrades
- Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Develop and maintain documentation for Certification and Accreditation in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies
- Develop system security policy and ensure compliance
- Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program
- Provide support to the Information System Security Manager for maintaining the appropriate operational IA posture
- Develop and update the system security plan and other IA documentation
- Assist with management of security aspects of the information system and perform day‑to‑day security operations
- Administer the user identification and authentication mechanism of the Information System
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent polygraph within the last 7 years)
- IAT level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01‑M is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years of ISSO experience or nine (9) years’ experience in lieu of a degree
At GRVTY, compensation is influenced by geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications. We provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and meaningful opportunities for professional growth.
Pay Range: $134,000 - $144,000 USD
