Systems Engineer
SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required
POSITION: Expert HPC Network/Systems Engineer
REQUISITION: K EY-TE.HPC-03.080626
LOCATION: Ft. Meade, Maryland
- (U) Provide Tier 4 HPC support to Ft. Meade and UDC sites.
- (U) Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high- performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre.
- (U) Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
- (U) Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
- (U) Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
- (U) Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of Red Hat and Suse operating systems.
CERTIFICATION: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree + 10 years minimum experience, OR
- No Degree + 15 years minimum experience, OR
- Ten (10) years’ experience in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above.
- Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
NOTE:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
