TS​/SCI System Administrator with Security Clearance

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Current DoD 8140 System Administrator Certification (Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, SecX, etc.)
Ability to obtain a qualifying Computer Environment Certification within 90 days (AZ-305, Microsoft Administrator Expert, DP-300, etc.)
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience in Windows/Linux server environments (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
Strong experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Solaris servers with expertise in at least one platform
Experience supporting VMware virtualized environments

Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Plusses:
Experience integrating cybersecurity tools and systems with monitoring, ticketing, and security platforms
Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP

Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing systems
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
Experience evaluating vendor products and emerging technologies
Experience leading new environment, enclave, or infrastructure standups

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will be supporting enterprise server infrastructure, virtual environments, and VDI platforms within a highly secure environment. They will be responsible for resolving complex escalations, leading the deployment of new environments, implementing security best practices, and driving operational excellence through documentation and process improvements. The ideal candidate is a technically versatile systems administrator with strong virtualization experience.

Compensation: $$48.08 - 61.50/HR. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
