Junior Information System Security Officer Security Clearance

Position: Junior Information System Security Officer with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team supporting in Fort Meade. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs

* Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.

* Establish and maintain operational security posture.

* Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.

* Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.

* Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.

* Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF

Minimum Qualifications:

* 5 years of professional experience in any capacity

* Experience or willingness to learn ISSO responsibilities
* Knowledge or willingness to learn current security tools,

* Experience or willingness to learn Hardware/software security implementation

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience with Splunk (search and reporting)
* Experience building Splunk dashboards

* Experience with AWS Docker services and Kubernetes Clearance Requirements:
* Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
