Site Lead / Cyber Network Operations (CNO) Software Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Lead / Cyber Network Operations (CNO) Software Developer to provide technical leadership, operational oversight, and advanced software development support for offensive and defensive cyber operations supporting U.S. Government and Department of Defense missions. The selected candidate will lead a team of cyber operators and developers while designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining custom CNO capabilities used to support national security objectives.

The Site Lead will serve as the primary on-site technical and program representative, providing leadership across cyber operations, malware analysis, vulnerability research, exploitation development, reverse engineering, and software engineering efforts. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience supporting U.S. Cyber Command, Intelligence Community, DoD, or other national security cyber programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field and 15 years of relevant experience; OR
• 19 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Minimum 10 years supporting Government, DoD, Intelligence Community, Cyber Command, or national security cyber operations.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience supporting cyber operations or offensive cyber programs.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical teams, projects, or operational cyber programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Site Lead and primary liaison between government stakeholders, program management, and technical teams.
• Lead CNO software development efforts supporting offensive and defensive cyber operations.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cyber capabilities utilizing C, C++, Python, Assembly, and scripting languages.
• Conduct vulnerability research, exploitation development, and proof-of-concept capability development.
• Perform Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating system analysis and exploitation activities.
• Lead malware analysis, reverse engineering, and digital forensic investigations.
• Develop custom cyber tools, automated exploitation frameworks, and mission applications.
• Support operational deployment, troubleshooting, integration, and training of cyber capabilities.
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security research on commercial and open-source technologies.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications utilizing Docker and related technologies.
• Create technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and mission reports.
• Manage project schedules, staffing priorities, technical risks, and customer deliverables.
• Mentor software developers, cyber operators, and junior engineers.
• Support Agile software development methodologies and configuration management processes.
• Coordinate directly with Government leadership on mission requirements and technical solutions.

• Knowledge of malware development and analysis methodologies.
• Experience developing cyber mission tools for operational use.
• CompTIA Security+, CASP+, GSEC, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.
• Military cyber operations experience strongly preferred.
