About the RoleYou’ll join a small, skilled Linux team managing instances across multiple networks and hybrid cloud architectures. This role focuses on hands‑on administration, automation, and building scalable solutions in a fast-moving environment where initiative and creative problem-solving are genuinely valued.
Responsibilities- Administer, configure, patch, and monitor Linux systems across on-premises and cloud environments
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible
- Troubleshoot complex Linux issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Design and implement infrastructure improvements to reduce manual processes
- Manage Linux instances in hybrid cloud environments including AWS
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Support incident response and root cause analysis for system-level issues
- Strong Linux administration: configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible
- Experience debugging and implementing automation in production environments
- Ability to collaborate across teams to resolve technical issues
- AWS experience, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling
- Proficiency with aws-cli and boto3
- Experience administering Linux in hybrid or multi-network environments
