The Expert-Level Network Evaluator / System Vulnerability Analyst provides advanced technical research, systems analysis, cyber-domain vulnerability assessment, and doctrine-development expertise to enhance Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations within modern digital environments. This role serves as a senior subject-matter expert in the assessment of information systems, network architectures, cyber infrastructure, digital personas, and online platforms that enable or threaten HUMINT activities.
The analyst is responsible for translating complex technical findings, operational observations, cyber-domain trends, and validated lessons learned into authoritative Information Technology (IT) doctrine, security-focused TTPs, HUMINT-enabling methodologies, and cyber tradecraft guidelines. This includes integrating elements of Counter-Unconventional Threat Signals (C-UTS), cyber-enabled threat finance activity, and CI‑driven HUMINT risk considerations to ensure doctrine is operationally relevant and defensively sound.
The position supports HUMINT operational planning and execution by evaluating system vulnerabilities, identifying cyber‑risk factors that affect source protection and operational security, fusing technical indicators with human‑centric intelligence, and developing products that are actionable, technically accurate, appropriately sourced, and aligned with mission requirements.
A core responsibility is the structured identification, documentation, and validation of best practices and lessons learned using the Joint Lessons Learned Program (JLLP). The analyst conducts systematic collection of observations across cyber operations, HUMINT engagements, exercises, network assessments, training events, and research activities. The analyst evaluates these observations for applicability, develops technically sound resolutions, measures their effectiveness, and disseminates validated doctrine updates to improve cyber-enabled HUMINT tradecraft across the enterprise.
