Compensation: $32.08-$32.08/hour

Tessera is seeking a reliable and organized Material Expediter with a professional attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
• Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift.
• Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts.
• Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records, receipt documents, issue documents and bills of lading.
• Reads on‑hand balances in GCSS‑Army and inventory reports to determine availability of stocks ready to be issued to customers.
• Examines material received, verifies part numbers, and checks discrepancies.
• Operates GSA, Army Owned vehicles, and MHE to relocate parts and supplies.
• Utilizes Enterprise, Environmental, Safety & Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH‑MIS).
• Performs visual inspections of authorized stock and performs packing and preservation of materials.
• Utilizes Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) and Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) to research parts and materials.

Qualifications:

• GCSS‑Army certification/experience preferred.
• Commercial vehicle and OSHA Forklift Operator certification preferred.
• Must be able to provide proper input information to the GCSS‑Army system.
• Army MOS 92A is preferred or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case‑by‑case basis.

• Work site can include steep inclines, such as slopes, hills, and uneven ground surfaces.

Requirements:

• Valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E‑Verify will be conducted for this position.

Union Affiliation:

This position is represented by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 37.

Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ‑compliant driver’s license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military , in accordance with the REAL .
