Our need is for a retail associate to join our Ability One base supply center. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a close-knit group, in a team based environment.

So, what will you actually be doing?

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Greet customers.
• Provide customer assistance in product selection.
• Be knowledgeable of promotional offerings.
• Use a point-of-sale system to ring up purchases and make accurate transactions.
• Bag purchases and provide receipts.
• Accept/handle orders and/or special-order requests.
• Stock shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness of store.
• Assist in warehouse operations (in-checking, off-loading, cleaning, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Possess basic math computation skills.
• Must be proficient in keyboards, computers, and inventory equipment.
• Must operate a point-of-sales system.
• May routinely lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Qualified candidates must be able to pass a background investigation at blind industries and services of Maryland's expense.
