• Provide armed and uniformed security, force protection, and law enforcement support.
• Execute counter‑terrorism and force protection duties.
• Control pedestrian and vehicular access.
• Respond to and mitigate security, medical, and fire emergencies.
• Manage critical incidents.
• Enforce laws and regulations protecting NSA assets.
• Conduct vehicle, facility, and material security inspections.
• Perform firearms training and range management.
• Patrol NSA property.

• Minimum age 21 and a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Entry level: high school diploma or GED.
• Development level: high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or military training plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Full performance level: high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or military training plus 4 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Military training: at least 18 semester hours in security disciplines (e.g., force protection, anti‑terrorism, physical security, crime prevention).
• Relevant experience: law enforcement, or discipline within security or counterintelligence.
• Academic degree in any field acceptable at experienced level.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Eligibility for random drug testing, security background investigation, polygraph, and reasonable accommodation for disabilities.

Salary is based on education level and relevant experience.

Salary range: $60,747 – $133,142 (varies by level, location, and experience).

DCIPS trial period: 2 years for non‑veteran candidates, 1 year for veteran preference eligible. Position may transition to permanent status subject to performance and security clearance.
