Summary

Position recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. Located in the DISA HC
-Site Operations Sec - OGDEN. Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

• Manage and integrate a multi-faceted SCI security program encompassing physical, personnel, industrial, and IT security domains to ensure mission-critical compliance and protection.
• Design, develop, and maintain technical security infrastructure for SCI facilities while managing the budget and procurement of advanced security systems and equipment.
• Direct continuous vulnerability testing and provide comprehensive security training and advisory support to leadership and personnel regarding SCI and Special Access Programs.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Males born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• This national security position may require access to classified information and requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
• In accordance with DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months.
• This is a drug test designated position.
• This position requires a Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
• This is a Mission Essential Position.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

• At least one year of experience demonstrating the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position (paid, unpaid, volunteer work or military service equivalent to work at the lower grade level).
• Directing continuous security vulnerability testing and technical evaluations to safeguard Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities and mission-critical assets.
• Designing and delivering specialized security training and indoctrination programs for military, civilian, and contractor personnel to ensure strict adherence to national security protocols.
• Acting as a primary advisor to senior leadership on complex security matters involving both SCI and Special Access Programs (SAP) to facilitate informed risk mitigation.
• Implementing corrective countermeasures to address identified deficiencies and maintaining the integrity of classified operational environments.

• If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment.
• Three‑year trial or probationary period may be required if you have not previously completed such a period.
• Telework availability will be based on mission requirements and supervisory determination.
• Individuals selected for drug-testing designated positions will be required to submit to urinalysis for illegal drugs prior to appointment.
• The position may cover relocation costs and other incentives subject to program authority.
• Shift work required: 6:00 – 15:30.
