Special Security Technician

USGI is seeking Special Security Technicians to support a DoD client in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, training on classified material/ SSO-related material and topics.
• Ensure control of access to SCI and SCI Facilities (SCIFs).
• Use appropriate systems, pass, and receive clearances, visit access requests, and SCI access certifications, and visitor control for facility.
• Ensure access control to SCIF, certify visitors/accesses, conduct inspections in accordance with applicable policies.
• Certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances/ accesses.
• Obtains signed nondisclosure agreements and provides guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned military, Government, and contractor personnel.
• Assistance with audits of classified material, inspections of classified material storage facilities/ SCIFs / containers, and, researching and preparing classified material-related policy and management recommendations, reports, and recommendations.
• Manage information, physical and technical security actions and applicable directives and accreditation documentation.
• Process requests and conduct inventory in specified databases.
• Maintain accountability of signature reduction program items.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in field comparable to the position description.
• Minimum of 8-years' experience performing the same or similar labor tasks working with Security Teams and Data Management in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Hold or willingness to attain the Contract Special Security Representative (CSSR) certification.
• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and a CI poly.
