Position: CI Specialist CI Research and Technology Protection (RTP) , Expert

Overview

Amentum is seeking experienced CI Analysts to protect critical unclassified DoD program and technology information resident on, or transiting, Defense Industrial Base unclassified systems and networks. This role identifies, monitors, and assesses foreign intelligence efforts attempting to collect sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests, including emerging technologies that impact U.S. operations. The analyst applies understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities and TTPs for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies and contributes to developing CI strategies.

Work

Schedule

5 days a week / 8 hours a day with core hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Schedule offers flexible hours; no weekend work is required.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of known or suspected FIE collection activity against compromised US Army technological information.
  • Produce intelligence products including initial information reports and formal information reports for Damage Assessments, and Cyber Intrusion Damage Assessment (CIDA) briefings.
  • Provide a broad overview of FIE collection activity against identified compromised technologies to inform the team of the FIE threat to specific technologies and assist in refinement of those technologies.
  • Produce written intelligence assessments to identify CI threats against US Army interests.
  • Perform research, analysis, and production of FIE Threat Assessments, Multidiscipline CI Threat Assessments (MDCITA), FIE Threat Briefings, CI Notes (CIN), ASRs, responses to RFIs, and analytical support to named operations.
  • Conduct, develop, produce, and present programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes relevant to DoD-authorized human intelligence and technical intelligence operations.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

Office environment with limited physical requirements; position requires mental demands to gather and analyze information to support intelligence and operations.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field and 20 years of relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or
  • Bachelor’s degree and 22 years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate degree and 24 years of relevant experience, or
  • High school diploma and 30 years of relevant experience.
  • US government clearance:
    Current Top Secret/SCI
  • Must be a graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent.
Security Clearance Required
  • TS/SCI – must be willing to take a polygraph if requested
Minimum Education
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field and 20 years of relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or
  • Bachelor’s degree and 22 years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate degree and 24 years of relevant experience, or
  • High school diploma and 30 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Years of Experience
  • Same as listed above for degree equivalencies.
Required Certifications
  • Must be a graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent.
Other Responsibilities
  • Safety – Enforces a safety culture; responsible for training requirements and participating in emergency response tasks and safety committees.
  • Quality – Ensures services meet customer expectations and adheres to Quality Policy and related responsibilities.
  • Procedure Compliance – Follows general and specific plans, procedures and policies; ensures non-discrimination in employment.
Compensation Details

$160,000 - $167,000

The compensation range listed is a good-faith estimate and may vary based on factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and applicable laws.
