Embedded Developer Skill Level 2 – T-Rex is looking for a talented candidate to work on a program in the Ft. Meade area in support of the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, debug, and test embedded software.
- Perform requirements analysis to drive requirement specifications.
- Perform design reviews with team members and government stakeholders.
- Package embedded software products for release to government customers.
- Experience with low-level programming in Windows, Linux, or RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, uC/OS).
- Experience with C/C++ and Python programming.
- Experience automating the testing of embedded software running on embedded devices.
Ten (10) years’ experience as an embedded developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional embedded developer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 – $210,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T‑Rex considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits include PTO available to use immediately upon joining (prorated based on start date), paid parental leave, individual and family health, vision, and dental benefits, annual budget for training, professional development and tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan with company match fully vested after 60 days of employment, among other benefits.
