Mid-Level Front End Developer - Fort Meade MD

Executive Summary

HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Front End Developer with TS/SCI to perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts, including creating technical design drawings, wireframes, and UI element optimization for PMO and stakeholder review.

The Front End Developer will provide analytical skills to support process improvement, develop requirements documents, and implement modifications to Graphic Use Interfaces (GUIs). This role requires expertise in facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development and executing rigorous system tests.

• Provide subject matter proficiency for task-described work and specialized studies.
• Analyze, plan, and develop requirements documents, functional models, procedures, and functional architecture.
• Perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development, including technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes for PMO and stakeholder review.
• Plan and implement modifications to Graphic Use Interfaces (GUIs).
• Construct and optimize various UI elements and system navigation practices.
• Facilitate operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.
• Generate system wireframes and mockups considering multiple user personas.
• Prepare, conduct, and document various systems tests to verify operability and compliance with project standards.

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• 7 years of experience in the functional area.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply tool suites related to Dev Sec Ops , microservices, and containers.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and Git Lab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five of the following:
  Apache, Ember, JavaScript, Jaguar, Java, Cricket, Node.
• 3 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
• Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.

• 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development.
• Experience using Agile Test-Driven development.
• Experience integrating into DoD Dev Sec Ops  environments.
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
