We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to create custom analytics to perform  software engineer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, then deliver innovative solutions focused on operationalizing data science. This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD.

• Work directly with data scientists as well as mission analysts to solve the most demanding strategic problems
• Perform end‑to‑end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer's corporate architecture

• Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java Map Reduce, Python Py Spark
• Strong experience with statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
• Strong experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; experience with Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree plus 11‑years of relevant experience or equivalent

• Experience with software development processes (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming
• Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and using Large Language Models (LLMs)

$191,000 - $214,000 a year

Clearance Requirement:
This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
