Join CNO's Custom Media Operations team, winners of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board Killian Award for outstanding mission support. CMO is leading the charge on media capabilities in the IC. You will support the team in full-stack web development efforts that connect CMO's capabilities with their customers. This role offers hands‑on experience developing solutions within the state‑of-the-art AI/ML landscape. On this small team, you will manage products through their entire lifecycle—from initial ideation to full production—and take full ownership of their success.

• Build and maintain full stack applications in collaboration with business leaders and AI/ML engineers providing custom media operations.
• Partner with AI/ML engineers, senior stakeholders, and business users to thoroughly understand complex operational challenges and translate those needs into robust, technical solutions.
• Rapidly prototype and pilot complex, cutting‑edge capabilities to meet customers' ever‑evolving needs.
• Optimize system usability and workflow efficiency by collaborating with end‑users to define and refine ideal user interaction path that reduces mission operation friction.
• Cultivate an understanding of latest technological developments in the AI/ML landscape and seek opportunities to operationalize them.

• Proven ability to take a project from initial concept/scoping through iterative development, rigorous testing, and final deployment.
• Highly self-directed, with experience decomposing work into features and actions, with minimal oversight.
• Experience conducting direct user research, iterating on new capabilities based on user feedback, and solving real‑world operational pain points.
• Extensive experience building applications in JavaScript including node.js, Type Script, and UI frameworks/libraries such as React and Material UI.
• Experience with Linux, especially Ubuntu and Amazon Linux.
• Experience with Docker.

• Experience managing CI/CD build pipelines within Git Lab.

• Experience with Java/Spring Boot and Python/Flask.
• AWS Certified Cloud Ops Engineer, or general experience with managing software infrastructure in AWS.
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, or general experience with managing an application running on Kubernetes.
• Experience with multimedia and 3D modeling tools such as Cinema4D, Blender, Unreal Engine, Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
• Basic literacy in AI and knowledge of ML process.
• Experience using code‑assist tools such as Open Code, Copilot, etc.

8 years experience and B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of B.S.

$191k-$234k (Annually)

We offer a generous compensation package that includes 24 days PTO accrued annually and 11 federal holidays.
