Software Engineer 1 - (Python, JavaScript, Docker)

Position : 20-16-020-SWE1

Location: Fort Meade, Maryland

$163k-$199k (Annually)

You will act as a general‑purpose Software Engineer and Data Analyst for a fast‑paced, mission‑focused team. You will design, develop, and integrate solutions enabling a high‑priority Operations customer.

You will work closely with Analysts, Operators, and other Software Engineers to integrate AI/ML technologies and develop rapid prototypes supporting the mission.

Elicit requirements from stakeholders and determine the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions.

• Develop automated analysis and triage across various collection techniques.
• Integrate capabilities into existing platforms and SDKs.
• Build scripts and user interfaces to convert and normalize data.
• Automate tasking and collection by extending the existing platform with new tools or technologies.

• Experience with platforms, machine learning, and AI tooling.
• Production‑grade software development experience in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience deploying and managing production services in a fast‑paced environment.
• Service containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Experience developing with agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Experience with additional programming languages (Java,
  
  C).
• Experience prototyping web applications with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue).
• Analyzing cyber security‑related data sets (Network Traffic, OS events).
• Knowledge of end‑to‑end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.

B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of B.S.
