The role is based in Annapolis Junction, MD, requires an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, and offers an annual salary range of $209,000 – $266,000.

• Build specialized tools and tradecraft to enhance the CNO mission.
• Create scalable data visualizations and workflow improvement tools.
• Independently lead full software life cycles from design through deployment.
• Maintain and optimize codebases with performance and usability in mind.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to explore emerging technologies.

• 12 years of experience as a Software Engineer on similarly scoped projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or 4 additional years of SWE experience in lieu of degree).
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

• Expertise in front‑end technologies and the React ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of state management, responsive design, and scalable UI architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, containerization, and modern Dev Ops workflows.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to mission‑specific systems.
• A user‑centric mindset and problem‑solving orientation.
• Experience with Vite, Tanstack Query, Tailwind CSS, Redux, Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts.
• Backend knowledge of Django, MySQL, SQLite, Postgres, Redis.
• Systems & tools:
  Elasticsearch, Web Sockets, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, XP/Agile, Linux (CentOS/RHEL), Cloud (S3, EC2, RDS), XKS.
• Bonus:
  Software reverse engineering, prior CNO experience.
