We are looking for a JavaScript engineer to work on classification marking tools and other mission‑focused software.
Responsibilities- Implement code across full software lifecycle including testing and documentation.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.
- Support development of classification marking tools.
- Customize tools supporting classification string validation.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
- Provide specific input to software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and document test results.
- Resolve software problem reports.
- Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Work individually or as part of a team.
- Active TS/SCI Polygraph.
- JavaScript, Jest, and Cypress expertise.
- Experience with JIRA and Git Lab.
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate with customers.
- Level 1:
Three years of related experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field (or 7 years of experience if substituted for degree). - Level 2:
Five years of related experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field (and 2 years of work experience in SIGINT, IA, or IT domains) plus an additional 4 years of experience (total 9 years).
