Java Developer

This Java Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of complex and diverse software systems using object oriented programming and AGILE software methodologies. You will design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features and integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. You will provide input to software components of system design to include hardware/software, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis.

You will review and test software components, document test results, and resolve software problem reports/correct software defects/bugs. Developing simple data queries for databases or data repositories may also be required.

• U.S. citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or four (4) years of experience substituting for the degree.
• Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems, Java or C++, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Familiarity with AGILE software development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
