Software Engineer 3 | Meade, Maryland (Full‑Time, On‑Site)
Seeking a Senior AI Engineer to support the Technology Trending Solutions mission, leading the design, development, and deployment of mission‑critical AI and analytics solutions within a highly governed environment. The ideal candidate has deep experience implementing analytic governance (e.g., AVG) and AI governance frameworks (e.g., AAA), ensuring all models, data, and workflows are compliant, auditable, and aligned with customer and enterprise policy.
The role requires expertise with analytics development environments and cloud‑native platforms (e.g., GMLearn, Container Yard, AWS Sage Maker, AWS EKS), strong agile delivery skills using Scrum or Kanban, and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Proficiency with modern version control and model/code management using Git, Git Lab, Hugging Face, BAILO, and a proven track record of delivering AI solutions from concept to governed production deployment in sensitive, mission‑focused environments is required.
- Collaborate closely with customers to build AI workflows and develop analytics based off artifacts to use AI to flag data of interest and summarize.
- Creatively leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
- United States citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance with agency appropriate polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Python and Java with experience in PySpark, Jupyter Notebooks, Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, GHOST MACHINE, and Query Time Analytics.
- Strong experience with agile delivery using Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with modern version control and model/code management using Git, Git Lab, Hugging Face, BAILO, or similar.
- Knowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories.
