Job Description

$110,000 - $170,000/year.

As a successful candidate for the Web Developer I role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting enterprise web services deployed within AWS environments while working independently and as part of a small, agile team. You will take ownership of features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment; contribute to the development of processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, large-scale data solutions, and business applications;

and help ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability across multiple platforms.

Analyze requirements, design and implement software solutions, review and test software components for adherence to design requirements, document test results, resolve software issues, and utilize software development methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Contribute to system and software design decisions, including hardware and software trade-offs, software reuse strategies, integration of COTS and GOTS technologies, decomposition of system-level requirements into individual components, support architectural discussions and continuous improvement throughout the SDLC.

• Demonstrable work experience with one or more of the following:
  Python, Java, .Net C#, PHP, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React
• Experience deploying and operating software on Linux (service configuration, logs, basic networking, automation)

• Hands-on AWS experience (IAM, EC2, ALB, S3, RDS, Cloud Watch) and/or Azure equivalents
• Experience with Nginx/Apache/Tomcat configuration and performance tuning
• Scripting/automation with Power Shell and/or Python; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting production services and participating in on-call/incident response

Compliance with DOD 8570.01 with a minimum certification of IAM Level I. (CAP, GSLC, Security +)

• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
