Position: Software Engineer 3 (IDN - 181)

Overview

Sage Cor Solutions (Sage Cor) serves Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, delivering engineering services and full lifecycle System Engineering services in high performance computing, large data analytics, and cutting-edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Qualifications

SWE-3

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Required Skills

Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
Experience writing Bash/PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows
Recent software development experience using Python and Java
Experience using an integrated development environment such as the Atlassian software development kit (SDK)
Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes
Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration

Position Desired Skills

Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment
Experience with interacting/training external customers
