Seeking a Data Scientist to design scalable data workflows, automate reporting processes, and develop reliable data transformation and ingestion solutions. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency through repeatable automation, robust data validation, and modern analytics capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities- Design and automate reporting and data-processing workflows
- Develop scalable ETL processes supporting incremental and batch data ingestion
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, aggregation, and reshaping
- Develop reusable Python automation packages and scripts
- Build and maintain SQL-based data-processing workflows
- Support dashboard automation and reporting capabilities
- Develop processes that improve data quality and reliability
- Document data flows, automation processes, and technical procedures
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Strong Python development experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience developing ETL or ELT workflows
- Experience performing data preprocessing, validation, filtering, normalization, aggregation, and transformation
- Experience developing reusable automation solutions
- Experience with Pandas, PySpark, or Polars
- Experience developing automated dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale or mission-oriented data environments
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
