Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Java Developer

Que Technology Group, Inc., is looking for an experienced Java developer to fill an opening on a small, mission-focused team.

• Contribute to the development of deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services
• Follow team standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Implement and test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, and config maps
• Support internal efforts to standardize and document reusable application deployment templates

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Familiar with Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, Docker, and REST
• Strong Linux skills
• Willing to work in customer spaces or in an offsite SCIF.

• Experience with the ELK stack, MongoDB, Ansible, and Kubernetes is strongly desired.
• Any background developing front-end UI solutions in Angular/Typescript
• Willingness to work limited-scope UI tasks.
