About the Role This role focuses on building custom analytics tools that operate at scale in support of complex analytical workflows. You will work closely with data scientists and mission analysts to prototype, develop, and deploy solutions that operationalize data science. The position spans the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through production deployment.

Responsibilities Partner with data scientists and mission analysts to design and build scalable analytics tools

Perform end-to-end software engineering including prototyping, development, integration, testing, and deployment

Develop and optimize data pipelines using PySpark, Java Map Reduce, and related big data technologies

Build and iterate on analytic workflows within Jupyter Notebooks Integrate solutions into existing enterprise architecture and data flows

Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work through Jira and Confluence Maintain and version control codebases using Git Lab Required  Qualifications Python with PySpark for large-scale data processing

Java Map Reduce Jupyter  Notebooks Statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals

Big data architecture and data flow concepts

Agile development methodology

Jira, Confluence, and Git Lab Desired  Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML model development and productionization

Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and applied NLPFull software development lifecycle experience across requirements, design, testing, and maintenance
