Job Overview – Bookkeeper – 34052

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support the day‑to‑day accounting operations of our growing real estate organization. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on bookkeeping, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is interested in long‑term growth with a stable company.

Compensation

To $30/hr

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries for multiple real estate entities and properties
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and tenant receipts
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and escrow accounts on a regular basis
  • Record and track rental income, operating expenses, CAM charges, and property-level transactions
  • Assist with month‑end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support property managers and internal teams with financial questions and documentation
  • Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries
  • Maintain organized financial records to support audits and tax preparation
  • Assist with process improvements and system clean‑up as needed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (real estate experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with multiple entities and high-volume transactions
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Yardi, App Folio, or similar preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
