Sr. Accountant

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Accountant for one of our large companies in Fort Mill, SC. The Sr. Accountant will be an important part of the monthly close process to make sure all journal entries are posted, accounts are reconciled, and monthly documentation requirements are complete. The position will also be responsible for:

• Monthly general ledger account reconciliations.

• Monthly journal entries.

• Maintain records and reporting to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reporting.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills & Experience

• Candidate's must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3 - 5 years of progressive accounting experience

• Candidate's with over 5 years of accounting experience and/or team leadership experience are highly encouraged to apply.

• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principals

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

• Experience with Accounting ERP systems

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
