Position:
Skill Level A Mechanical Service Technician
We are seeking a Skill Level A Mechanic with advanced automotive repair experience and strong diagnostic skills
. The Mechanical Service Technician is responsible for performing brake repairs, tune‑ups, diagnostics, and general automotive repair services, as well as additional duties as directed by the Shop Manager or Assistant Shop Manager.

- Comprehensive Maintenance Records
- Perform high-quality mechanical repair services in accordance with industry-approved standards
- Diagnose complex vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Build trusting customer relationships through honest, competent service
- Maintain shop supply inventory and notify management when reorders are needed
- Clearly explain Spee Dee programs, services, and pricing to ensure high customer satisfaction and increased revenue
- Attend training sessions aligned with career development and position requirements
- Ensure equipment is operating properly and perform preventive maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or equipment issues promptly
- Skill Level A Mechanic with advanced automotive repair capabilities
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (electrical, engine performance, drivability preferred)
- Advanced automotive repair experience
- Commitment to excellence at all levels of service
- Excellent communication skills with an upbeat, customer-focused personality
- Strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
- Clean and professional appearance
- Valid state driver’s license
- General center cleaning and maintenance (mopping, window cleaning, clearing litter)
- Participation in crew meetings
- Completing additional duties assigned by supervisors
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, shop noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes
Physical Requirements- Good corrected vision and hearing
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and crouching
- Reaching, handling, and lifting as required
