Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of raw materials.

* Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand raw material requirements and forecast demand.

* Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to optimize sourcing decisions.

* Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.

* Resolve supplier issues, such as quality concerns, delivery delays, and price discrepancies.

* Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function.

* Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to raw material sourcing.

Your Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a raw material buyer or procurement specialist in a corporate setting.

* Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence suppliers to achieve favorable terms.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in supplier management and contract negotiation.

* Familiarity with procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP, eSourcing platforms).

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

* Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to raw material sourcing.
