Execute CAB / ECAB and high-impact change decisions; chair or delegate with clear escalation paths. Integrate governance with release weekends, blackout/freeze calendars, and strategic initiatives (e.g., platform migrations, landing-zone transitions, security uplift, major vendor upgrades). Align change risk assessment with customer/advisor impact, market hours, money movement, trading, and critical client-facing paths. Represents change governance to senior technology, risk, and audit stakeholders;
owns escalations, policy exceptions, and freeze/blackout decisions with documented rationale. Drives cross-tower adoption (applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, security) and aligns change controls with release management, CMDB, DR/resiliency, and vulnerability/SPOF remediation cadences. Define and publish KPIs/KRIs: success rate, failed changes, unauthorized change, emergency %, CAB timeliness, record completeness, repeat failure themes. Trend failed changes, rollbacks, and change-related incidents; sponsor corrective actions and policy/tool updates.
Benchmark against peer firms and industry practice; prepare materials for QBRs, audit committees, and executive summaries.
- 7-10 years in technology operations, production support, release management, or change governance in a large, complex enterprise.
- 5+ years leading change governance, CAB/ECAB, or ITSM process ownership at scale.
- 5+ years experience in a regulated financial services environment (broker-dealer, banking, or insurance technology strongly preferred).
- 5+ years experience/knowledge of ITIL change enablement and production control design (not credentials alone).
- 5+ years experience with Service Now Change & CMDB at enterprise level—workflow design, governance reporting, audit evidence.
- Demonstrated executive communication and ability to influence directors, VPs, and engineering leaders without line authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Pay Range: $99,910.00 - $ Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
