Afternoon Support Teacher

Endeavor Schools seeks an Afternoon Support Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment in our early childhood and elementary classrooms. In this role, you'll assist lead teachers with afternoon routines, small-group activities, and individualized support that reflects our whole-child, academically focused philosophy. You will supervise children indoors and outdoors, manage transitions, and maintain clean, organized learning spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, and collaborative, with a passion for helping children grow and a desire to learn within a mission-driven, supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with afternoon classroom activities and routines
• Supervise children to ensure safety during indoor and outdoor play
• Support small-group and one-on-one learning and enrichment activities
• Help with classroom organization, cleaning, and material preparation
• Communicate positively with children, families, and staff
• Support behavior guidance using school-approved practices
• Assist with snack, rest time, and dismissal procedures
• Follow all school, licensing, and health and safety policies
