The Goddard School is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher for our 18–24 month classroom

As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you'll create a warm, safe and engaging classroom specifically designed for the developmental needs of children 18–24 months old
.
You'll:
- Build nurturing and trusting relationships with children
- Plan and lead age-appropriate learning experiences through play, exploration, music, movement and hands-on activities
- Support children's language, social-emotional, physical and cognitive development
- Establish consistent classroom routines while encouraging growing independence
- Observe children's interests and development and use those observations to create meaningful learning experiences
- Communicate with families about their child's day, development and accomplishments
- Partner with your co-teacher and school leadership to maintain a successful classroom
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe learning environment
We're looking for a teacher who:
- Enjoys working with toddlers and understands the patience and energy this age group requires
- Is nurturing, dependable and positive
- Can confidently lead a classroom and work collaboratively with a co-teacher
- Communicates professionally with families and coworkers
- Is organized and able to maintain consistent classroom routines
- Is willing to learn and continue growing professionally
- Meets required background-check and state childcare requirements
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood classroom OR
- Associate or bachelor's degree Preferably Early Childhood Education or a related field
