Industrial Control Automation Engineers are the primary technical resource for project execution. They must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical requirements to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the project execution process. They must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout the project cycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs the design, programming, documentation, testing, and commissioning of control system projects for our valued customers.
• Collaborate and work in a Team Environment to provide process solutions.
• Become a SME on products and applications offering.
• Responsible for executing projects of varying size which range from being dedicated to a single year-long project to balancing 3-6 smaller projects simultaneously.
• Develop proficiency in numerous languages, platforms, and control networks for PLCs, PCs, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Research, design, build, test, and implement, machines, instruments, controls, and or robots, including programing control systems and process monitors from scratch.
• 50% travel required to customer sites.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering/Technical Field, and/or equivalent related experience in a similar industry role.
• 3+ years of Industrial Automation Experience in Process control design, development, and troubleshooting experience.
• Technical hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, VFDs, Industrial Networks, SCADA, Data Centers, instrumentation, robotics, motion controls.
• Onsite start-up and commissioning experience and ability to navigate various virtualized environments and deploy managed networks inside industrial facility plant floor.
• Must be able to perform configuration and equipment startups on VFDs, conveyor systems, various types of instrumentation supporting process control environments.
• Technical hands-on experience with PLC software, remote I/O, and other hardware experience with different programing styles including ladder logic, structured text, function block, and HMI design.
