Our client, a fast growing Renewable Energy Manufacturer is looking for a Facilities Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze data, blueprints, and reports to support facility planning and operations
  • Determine facility and equipment specifications
  • Analyze project costs and assist with budget preparation
  • Design and oversee facility expansions, layouts, systems, and quality controls
  • Evaluate operational systems and infrastructure to identify and improve efficiency
  • Develop processing plans and optimize resource allocation
  • Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance work
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards
  • Prepare reports and compliance documentation
  • Review and optimize preventive maintenance programs in the CMMS
  • Support asset management, documentation, and engineering activities
  • Apply working knowledge of HVAC, fire suppression, and high voltage systems
  • Prepare annual, 5 year and 10 year infrastructure plans
  • Review and monitor current processes to improve efficiency
  • Schedule routine maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot plant utility system issues
  • Analyze opportunities for process and infrastructure improvements
  • Prepare technical specifications
  • Assist with development of annual master plans
Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of building processes and construction principles
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and building codes
  • Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on scope, on budget, and on schedule
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and CMMS systems
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related field.
