Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience leading survey projects, managing field crews, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
  • Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
  • Utilize modern survey equipment and software (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with NC & SC surveying regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and clients to provide accurate solutions.
  • Supervise and train field crews as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in North Carolina (SC preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of boundary law, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GPS survey equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
