Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have experience leading survey projects, managing field crews, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
- Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
- Utilize modern survey equipment and software (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with NC & SC surveying regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and clients to provide accurate solutions.
- Supervise and train field crews as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in North Carolina (SC preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying.
- Strong knowledge of boundary law, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GPS survey equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
