Accounting Manager

A fast‑paced Machine Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core finance operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role oversees key accounting functions, strengthens internal controls, and supports strategic decision‑making across the business.

• Lead general accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, AP/AR
  , and month‑end close
  .
• Oversee daily workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with GAAP
  .
• Manage a large operating budget and maintain strong internal controls.
• Prepare timely financial statements and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Conduct monthly budget vs. actual reviews and support forecasting activities.
• Coordinate annual audits, year‑end close, and collaborate with tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems, processes, and controls.

• 8+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or high‑volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and ERP/EDP processes.
• Experience with Quick Books Online and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word

• Capex planning/management experience preferred.
• System or process implementation experience helpful.
• Professional, ethical, reliable, and steady under pressure.
