Job Overview

The Retirement Partners team within LPL's Wealth Management (WM) group is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of retirement solutions for retirement and wealth advisors. The Senior Retirement Analyst is a key contributor within the Retirement Partners team. This role plays a critical part in executing strategy, platform oversight, and ongoing enhancements that drive advisor growth and improve the overall retirement plan offering.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for executing Retirement Partners' plan platform oversight and implementation while providing thought leadership and expertise to our partners
  • Subject matter expert for all aspects of the plan space; including but not limited to client agreements, workflow processes, continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Engage with advisors to resolve setup and operational issues in a way that is inclusive to holistic wealth management business.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and a willingness to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-driven environment
  • Supportive and collaborative role with colleagues and leverage opportunities to increase individual knowledge about the retirement space in support of business initiatives and advisor/client success
  • Jointly participate and lead in project & task assignments with other team members to gain experience in policies and procedures related to the facilitation of proposals, onboarding new business, and managing provider relationships in support of sales
  • Assume responsibility of complex projects & tasks while developing fundamental concepts, practices and procedures
  • Strong understanding of recordkeeper data and nuances across different platforms and industry products in the retirement plan space
  • Maintenance of accurate and current documentation where appropriate and work with appropriate parties to ensure timely deliverables
  • Pro-active communication with all responsible parties for updates and reporting
  • Become accomplished in use of all relevant department tools and resources

The position requires a candidate with retirement operations and platform experience. The ability to execute initiatives in partnership with other teams across the organization is critical to the role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of previous experience in data management or analytics
  • Retirement Plan industry designation or pursuing CPFA, AIF or equivalent
  • MS Office, especially Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint (CRM use a plus)

Pay Range:

$61,903.00 - $ Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
