Pricing Analyst

Job Summary

Data driven Pricing Analyst with experience in quote generation, analyzing pricing trends, profitability, and market conditions to support strategic business decisions. Skilled in excel-based modeling, competitive analysis, forecasting, and translating complex data into actionable insights that improve revenue and margin performances.

• Prepare, review, and approve pricing quotes based on company pricing strategy and margin targets
• Analyze pricing data, sales trends, margins, and customer purchasing behavior
• Partner with Sales and Product teams to provide competitive and accurate pricing recommendations
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and pricing consistency
• Support quote reviews, contract pricing, and discount approvals
• Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin
• Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance
• May provide customized pricing to the sales team
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Perform work under minimal supervision
• Pricing Analyst experience
• Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher‑level staff
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
• Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
• Typically require a bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Detail oriented
• Ability to meet deadlines
