Job Summary
Data driven Pricing Analyst with experience in quote generation, analyzing pricing trends, profitability, and market conditions to support strategic business decisions. Skilled in excel-based modeling, competitive analysis, forecasting, and translating complex data into actionable insights that improve revenue and margin performances.
Job Duties- Prepare, review, and approve pricing quotes based on company pricing strategy and margin targets
- Analyze pricing data, sales trends, margins, and customer purchasing behavior
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to provide competitive and accurate pricing recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and pricing consistency
- Support quote reviews, contract pricing, and discount approvals
- Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin
- Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance
- May provide customized pricing to the sales team
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work under minimal supervision
- Pricing Analyst experience
- Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher‑level staff
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
- Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Typically require a bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
