Global Head of BI and Data

Overall Responsibility

Responsible for owning, designing, and delivering the enterprise business intelligence, reporting, and data warehouse capabilities for the organization. Responsible for defining and maintaining the analytics architecture supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the primary system of record. Responsible for leading enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) governance and leading data‑centric AI and advanced analytics enablement. Responsible for leading a small hybrid team while remaining hands‑on in technical design and development.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise BI and data warehouse architecture
• Define data modeling standards including dimensional models and semantic layers
• Maintain hands‑on involvement in SQL development, modeling, and troubleshooting
• Lead Power BI reporting strategy including datasets, DAX, security, and governance
• Partner with business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting priorities
• Lead and coordinate internal and external BI resources
• Ensure data governance, security, and documentation standards are enforced

• Lead enterprise Master Data Management governance
• Define data domains, ownership, and stewardship
• Establish data quality and consistency standards
• Ensure master data supports operational and analytical use cases

• Lead data readiness for AI and advanced analytics initiatives
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security for AI use cases
• Partner with business and IT leaders to identify practical AI opportunities

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to translate business questions into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable operating as both architect and hands‑on contributor

• 5+ years in BI, data engineering, or analytics roles
• Hands‑on experience with SQL, Power BI, and cloud data platforms
• Experience supporting ERP‑driven analytics, ideally Dynamics 365
• Experience leading small teams and managing vendors

• Manufacturing or supply‑chain analytics experience
• Azure Synapse Analytics experience
• Financial reporting experience
