1. Release Train Engineer Experience

-Manager has communicated that they need someone SENIOR as a RTE.

-This person will be owning 8 teams, need experience being over a similar size

-Individual will be aligned to 13 million portfolio as they'll be working within that area

-Should have been a RTE at a Fortune 500 company, preferred to be Financial Services organizations.

-Must be fantastic with Jira

2. Communication

-Strong communication is a non-negotiable.

-They are going to be working with difficult and varying personalities - need to be able to handle complex environments like this

-The Product and Tech folks being able to rally teams to hit milestones

3. SDLC Knowledge

-Should be able to understand technical language and relay it back to the business

-Teams they'll be working with are using Python and Angular but this person doesn't have to be super specific with a technology

-Responsible for guiding multiple scrum teams through the use of Agile / Scrum practices and values for the purpose of delivering quality software and solutions to the organization. This role is responsible for conducting Scrum of Scrum or SAFe ART processes and ceremonies when in a team-of-teams model. You must build trusted relationships with the team and with their stakeholders (Product Managers, Solutions Managers, etc.)

to ensure the needs of all team members are being met. Oversee process excellence, best practices and adherence across multiple trains and teams in the domain.

Responsibilities:

JIRA

Facilitates team in defining Working Agreements, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done and then ensures those agreements are upheld

Conducts team-of-team ceremonies including Program Increment (PI) Planning events for release trains

Helps identify and remove impediments, escalates impediments to the product and solutions manager, recommends ways to resolve impediments, and influences leadership to take action on these recommendations

Helps team inspect and adapt process through retrospectives, data / metrics tracking and creating a safe, trusting environment with space to grow

Coaches Agile Release Train team-of-teams to higher levels of performance

Assists with internal and external communication and improving transparency by creating visible information radiators (burn-downs, velocity chart, etc.), dashboards and demos

Supports Product Manager and/or Program Manager with communication materials for SENIOR leadership that are clear, concise and visually appealing

Provides metric reports to assist in product roadmap planning

Have ownership of delivering against Deals/Program milestones.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Mill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
