Middleware Axway Engineer
Location: Fort Mill, USA (Onsite)
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Middleware Axway Engineer to support enterprise middleware and Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Axway Secure Transport, Linux administration, and secure file transfer technologies. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing MFT solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable data integration.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Axway Secure Transport environments.
- Gather business requirements and work with stakeholders to understand file transfer and integration needs.
- Install, configure, and maintain middleware software, including applying patches and system updates.
- Monitor and support secure file transfers using SFTP, HTTPS, S3, and Share Point protocols.
- Perform Linux system administration tasks related to middleware environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability and performance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams to deliver reliable integration solutions.
- Document configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in system maintenance, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Axway Secure Transport or other Axway MFT solutions.
- Strong experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) technologies.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Experience with secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, HTTPS, S3, and Share Point .
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting for automation and administration.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other automation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid integration environments.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards related to secure data transfer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting enterprise middleware and MFT environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, onsite team environment.
